The stretcher is a tapered, bent lamination of six walnut shop-sawn veneers. Each end tenons into the turned legs.

Made of Black Walnut with Tulip Poplar secondary wood and Sugar Maple drawer parts. Within hides a secret compartment... perhaps secret no more.
