The lid has been carved with three initials. The process takes only a couple hours, but adds miles to the overall feel of the piece.

Inlaid quadrant hinges were used on the box. They prop the lid open at 95°. The lock and inlaid escutcheon are also high quality brass make. Strong, well made and properly installed hardware give this piece a luxurious fit and finish.
