is a trick shelf that pops out when pushed on. This is intended
as a layout shelf for selecting jewlery from the drawers. |
| The
Shields Jewelry Armoire is made of Curly Maple from New Hampshire, and
Butternut that was salvaged from an old Vermont church door. The
hardware
is nickel plated brass. The bureau is finished with a mixture of boiled
linseed oil, many coats of shellac and paste wax. Photos of the build can be found here. |
