The
entire chest was made from one 10'x 15" x 2" Oak board taken from a 150
year old barn. The dovetailed case was re-sawn and grain matched all
the way around. The brilliant colors are result of natural ammonia
fuming from the animals who lived in the barn. |

The Hope Chest is made of reclaimed barn Oak. It is finished with boiled linseed oil and a hot parrafin wax application. |
